TUITION
FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2006 (2006-2007) - Effective
September 1st 2006. All fees are stated in USD unless
otherwise noted.
TUITION, MONTSERRAT CAMPUS, MD/MBBS:
Tuition is USD $4,100. per semester, for basic sciences and $ 4,500 per semester
for clinical training. Tuition for
UK clinical sites is £ 3.500 per 12 week block of clinical training.
TUITION, MONTSERRAT CAMPUS, NMD/OMD:
Tuition is USD $4,100. per semester, for basic sciences and $ 4,100 per semester
for clinical training. Clinical
sites for NMD and OMD students are not available in the UK.

The
University of Science,Arts, and Technology, Montserrat Ltd. operates on the
traditional US semester system. Each semester is measured as 16 weeks in
duration, and includes an opportunity for intensive study in the 6th week and at
the close of each sequence of classes. Clinical terms are presented in 12 week
blocks, each with one or more clinical specialties represented.
Each student is expected to pay or arrange for financing for each
semester's tuition no less than 30 days before the first class of each semester
in order to remain in good standing. A late charge (£50 / USA $100) may be
applied to any account that is not paid on time. The tuition and late fees if
applicable for the semester in which enrolled must be paid before the student
can attend any classes or undertake any clinical training. Students
may commence study at the start of any semester (January, May, or September).
The University reserves the right to with-hold transcripts and award of a
Diploma or degree for students who have delinquent accounts. The College also
operates a summer module, or half-semester, designed to enable students to
complete additional courses, undergo remedial study, or complete
additional studies in a variety of academic areas.
Tuition has been set to be
competitive and yet affordable for students of all Nations entering the College.
Tuition and fees are determined at the beginning of the fall term and normally
remain set at that rate throughout the academic year. USAT strives for an
International student population, and provides regional incentives to facilitate
the achievement of that goal. The University
has limited Scholarship aid for students of all nations, based on factors of
merit , individual need, and Geographic Nation of origin. The University
reserves the right to adjust tuition and/or fees according to the present
economic environment as necessary. Tuition rates are highly competitive with
most private medical Colleges, and will be provided upon application or
upon inquiry. Tuition may be paid in US or Eastern Caribbean Dollars or GB
Pounds, via Visa,
Mastercard or American Express in a fully secured network. Feel
