The symbol on the Montserrat Flag shows a woman standing very close to a yellow harp embracing a cross.
To show respect
to the earlier European settlers, the flag of Montserrat bears the
insignia of the shamrock .

Transfer
Students
Welcomed!
Note
The listing of a medical school
by the "WHO" does not by itself confer automatic accreditation for higher
education of an Institution. Also note that all
transcripts submitted by applicants may undergo a prime source
validation prior to the granting of final admission or credits transfer.
|
USAT accepts transfer students in most academic fields of study,
including Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, and others.
Transfer
credits from other Institutions are determined via conventional
procedures for Institutions of Higher Education on a course by course
basis. Applicants who have completed parts of their medical education
via distance learning will be required to undertake a competency or
proficiency examination in those subjects before transfer credit can be
assigned in any medical or nursing curriculum.
Students
may apply for transfer from any World Health Organization (WHO) or IMED
listed School or College of Medicine or other accredited, duly licensed
University or College. Courses taken at a graduate level education
program may also be considered for transfer if equivalent to those of a
WHO-listed or IMED-listed medical school. Evaluation of
transcripts is done on an individual basis. Students normally
transfer previously completed coursework into the appropriate level of
the Preclinical program and continue their medical study toward
completion of the program. |
