Entrance Examination RequirementsThe University reserves the right to administer an entrance examination where admission qualifications may be uncertain. The examination consists of MCQ and short answer questions, requiring approximately 1 hour to complete. The basis of the examination includes an assessment to assist in proper placement of the student and determination of transfer credit if appropriate. All admissions are reviewed and acceptances issued from the Montserrat office of admissions for USAT. BSC programs Recommended International Minimum is 5 O levels at grade C or above: Should include at least one Science, English, and Maths, or "A" levels containing one science subject, including English and a social science. For applicants with O levels only, applicant must complete nursing access course below. Nursing access: Containing minimum of one unit of chemistry, biological sciences, and social sciences. May be taken in 2 semesters or less. UK
/ EU students: "A" levels or their equivalent with at least
one science subject, plus one social sciences subject. Graduate Level Programs General Guidelines: Evidence of an earned BSc or equivalent from a recognized institution. All applications must have certified transcripts for evaluation by the University. For PhD programmes the GPA must be not less than 3.25 overall on a 4 point scale and for MSc programs the GPA must be not less than 2.75 overall on a 4 point scale.
