Moreover, the private commercially uncluttered atmosphere of Montserrat, combined with the one of most spectacular natural environments; and the lowest crime rate of the Caribbean creates the ideal environment to concentrate and learn while you begin your professional education in medicine or related medical or scientific fields of endeavor.

The vision of the founding members of  USAT, was to develop an educational focus based on the strengths of Traditional Medicine combind with advancing technologies in Alternative  Medicine.

Our educational curriculum is, therefore, based on the premise that a solid foundation in basic medical science is an absolute prerequisite for any medical career.  The innovative medical curriculum offered at USAT has recently been hailed as exactly that; "It has been cited as the best designed medical curricula in North America".

Our specialized curriculum readily provides the dedicated emerging student with the necessary knowledge and preclinical skills necessary to succeed with practical applications of his/her learned skills.

With our commitment to excellence and professionalism in the science and technology of medicine,  dedicated students will be well prepared for both the US and worldwide medical systems including the medical systems of most other Nations.  Those learned skills will serve them, far beyond the date of graduation; well into the clinical environment at the patient bedside.

Historically scientific technological advances have been combined, in part with elements of traditional medicine, which have formed an essential link between research and medicine.

We have chosen to include emerging technologies within the major thrusts of our programs to inspire  Research and Medicine, rightfully so.  The academic programs we offer, thereby integrates salient aspects of holistic medical care using scientifically documented elements of Nutrition, and Complimentary Alternative therapies, with Traditional and Natural medicine.
